Meet Our New Ministry Interns

CORT AND ABBY GATLIFF, Pastoral Ministry Interns, are from Memphis, Tennessee, and met at their church’s youth group. They got married in 2015 and spent a year living in France before beginning their studies at Beeson Divinity School. You can often find them at Continental Bakery enjoying breakfast after walking their dog, a Goldendoodle named Molly.

Abby completed her undergraduate degrees in math and French at Samford University. In Birmingham, she has worked as a youth intern at Oak Mountain Presbyterian and a project manager at Regions Bank and Luckie Advertising. Before starting at Beeson Divinity School, she taught English in an elementary school in Valenciennes, France. She enjoys cheeseburgers, Star Wars, and speaking French. She will graduate from Beeson in May 2021.

Cort completed his undergraduate degrees in journalism and English literature at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. For the past four years he has worked as a senior copywriter for a marketing agency and a freelance writer. He is beginning his third year at Beeson Divinity School and will graduate with a Master of Divinity in May 2020. He enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
