Student Ministry

The goal of the SHPC student ministry is to grow students in their relationship with Jesus Christ and his church.

We do this through in-depth Bible study, corporate worship, food and fellowship, retreats, and more. From 6th grade to college, students have the opportunity to learn what it means to be a faithful and confident disciple of Jesus in an increasingly pluralistic culture. Our hope is that when students leave our ministry, they’ll have a firm foundation for their faith to continue grow for the rest of their lives.

Confirmation (6th Grade):

Students wishing to confirm their baptismal vows can participate in Confirmation. Contact Kathy Tracey for more information.

Youth Group (7th—12th grade):

Through fellowship, food, and Bible study, middle and high school students are encouraged in their growing relationship with the Lord. Retreats, Summer trips, service opportunities, and other events equip students to lead lives centered on Christ and committed to his church.

During the school year, SHPC Youth meets for dinner and small group Bible study on Sunday nights from 6–7:30 p.m. Dinner signup is here.
